The world of social media is in mourning once again, as the death of content creator Ariela "La Langosta" was recently announced. She was found dead inside a car in New York.
Ariela Mejia-Polanco , a young woman of Dominican origin who was better known on social media as Ariela 'La Langosta' , was found dead inside her vehicle in the early hours of Sunday, August 17, according to the Westchester County Police Department.

According to the first reports issued by the authorities, The 29-year-old influencer's body had several bullet wounds, which led initial investigations to classify the case as a violent incident, ruling out the possibility of it being an accident.
The vehicle, a black Mercedes-Benz G-Class, located on Cross County Parkway in Mount Vernon, had bullet holes in the driver's side and the window completely shattered, reinforcing the idea that it was a random attack.
According to The New York Post, the incident occurred after Ariela attended a party at a Manhattan club called 'Ikon,' where she also worked as a waitress.
The young woman managed to share a couple of videos where she is seen celebrating and enjoying the atmosphere, before she died early Sunday morning.
